    Default My wife fishes !!

It took me about 10n years to talk my wife into going with me so we were down at the beach and i couldnt find anyone to go so she went with me , the first time we didnt catch a thing, the second time she caught her first puppy drum and an assortment of fish including her first sheep head, went back 2 days later and she's at it again,we proably caught 100 reds but unforunately only one keeper.

That's awesome. I tried for 29 years to get my first wife to fish with me. Never happened.
Been married 3 years to my second wife, and she is willing g to fish with me once I get us a boat. Should have found this one 24 years ago...?

My wife doesn't go fishing with me either. She did a few times early on, but getting up early and handling slimy fish just isn't her deal.

She stays too busy riding & showing her horse. Whoever said that a boat is a hole in the water that you pour money into never owned a horse. Absolutely nothing with horses is free.
Although, I'd rather have her riding his @$$ than mine. Just sayin'

Mine doesn't like to fish she likes to catch. So I try to only take her when I'm pretty sure there will be at lease Perch to keep her busy.
Yak, My boat is way cheaper thana horse and I only have to feed it when I use it. :-)

    OK Jim Yak Fisher,

You are so right, even if somebody gives you a horse you can't afford it. Been there and done that, I figure the only thing dumber than a horse is the guy that owns one.

Wife and I have been married for 26 years now. The only fishing I could get her to do is jug fishing for catfish. Absolutely no interest whatsoever in fishing or hunting. The moment the boys graduated highschool as was gone it was instantly like I was married to another woman! Now I cant go hog hunting without her, and as along as we're on fish she loves it.

If I am hooked up to the boat, wife is probably getting ready. She goes probably 90% of the time. She loves to big fish. Stripers and cats is what she loves. I love to crappie fish. Only problem with taking her is she usually does all the catching and I do all the driving.
