Thread: Elk City 10-14-2017, 9AM to 2Pm

I thought I would see how the crappie bite was in-between bass fishing trips. We launched at card creek Saturday morning around 9 and fished til 2. We didn't fish the main lake. The bite was very slow ; 2 keepers and 4 dinks on minnows. Water was stained and 70 degrees. We fished up and down river ; shallow and deep on everything ; timber, piles , wash-ups, rock, in and out of channel. My father-in-law said we got 4 inches of rain in Longton Saturday night so I would guess the river mudded up???
