    Cranks can be good today and minnow trolling rigs tomorrow. Push and pull both and see what does best.

    If the big 4 allowed more than 4 poles, I would try doing both at the same time, but 2 poles each wouldn't give a good test of either one.

    My neighbor that I carry at times is 85 and doesn't always feel like going. Maybe if my 8 year old grandson comes over tomorrow he will want to go with me. My wife just had total shoulder replacement so she won't be able to fish for a long time.
    So I fish by myself most of the time.

    My wife just had a shoulder done. Long slow process to get healed properly they say.
