Thread: Down Da Bayou

Little Pigeon dat is. Located in da Atchafalaya Swamp. Which is the largest wetland and swamp in the United States.

Had a decision to make this AM . All My north shore rivers are all backed up due to the strong east wind all week. Some have been closed to boats. Was thinkin Old River at Morganza Haven't been in a while. Even thought for a quick second about going to Henderson. Maybe I could follow Bruce around.:big grin

Ran to Grand Lake first. Conditions were perfect. Muddy water and clear blue skies. Not much wind early. Hit my favorite spots and nada. Not good. What we gonna due now I said to myself?

Made the move back to Little Pigeon and found a few. Feesh were shallow. Caught most in two foot of water or less. Tight line tube.

Oh da world record shoe pic went 24" long.

Nothing like a tussle with a big bully choupique to get your fishing arm warmed up. Nice job.
