Yes. I need to get some. There was a new color up recently. Looked like it would work down my way.

Awesome! I've only been pulling cranks for a year now. I've learned a lot, but the one thing I've learned the most is that I still have a lot to learn. This forum has been the best source for providing the information. It also lead me to TGE who has helped me tremendously. It's a fun method to learn. I've also learned a few things by accident. Like days when you've fished so much, your batteries are sure to be getting low, but you're not ready to give up, so you fire up the outboard. Suddenly you're dragging fish behind the boat. There's been days(many days) that I watch TGE loading up a cooler while I'm only putting half the fish in the box doing the same thing. The difference can be small like ten foot difference in line length. .4 mph speed difference. Bandit 300s over 200s. 200s mixed with 300s. Long story longer, you can never learn or experiment too much. My biggest lesson learned is if you ain't catching, don't hesitate to make a change. The more lines you can run, the more you can experiment with. I'm going to Broken Bow in a couple weeks. This will be the first lake away from home that I'll try cranking on. I'm sure I'll spend a whole day changing baits, line length, pulling, pushing, speeds, ect. Might not catch a thing, but I'll learn more in the process. That's a big, deep, clear lake. Far different from the shallow, muddy, dark, or blackwater lakes I fish around here. Keep posting your experiences. We'll figure this thing out one way or another! Tight lines.
A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work, unless you fish for a living.

Yep. You're right. Every trip is a learning experience. A little trick I learned over the last year and a half is to change colors when the bite slows. When the bite slows and I start losing fish, I show them a different color. I will change all of my poles out. It usually nets me a few more fish before they completely shut off. I didn't have to do that yesterday. I left them biting.
