Welcome to the site and board and the craziness of tying!

This was put together in 2007, but most is still good info for new guys! My first tip is to read all the sticky post at the top except for jig pictures which is just that, pictures of jigs. Lots of good info in the sticky post at the top of this board. Here is a link to one of them....

I would need more clear pictures for any real tips on what you have tied, but always willing to help!

Welcome from central Florida. All the tips will come over time, mine is to buy good gear and have plenty of storage.

Very nice. Look out you'll find yourself waking up in the middle of the night dreaming of a new color combo or style.

Lol. I'm out of heads right now. Going to have to get more. I really like those HD walleye custom jig heads from Store Policy

Youre right about the storage. I started off with just a couple different colors of Buck Tail and a couple different colors of marabou. Now I have a shopping bag full of different colors. Do you like Arctic Fox hair over Buck Tail hair? I have seen a couple people use that Arctic Fox and it looks good. What are your thoughts?

I love the arctic fox other then on larger jigs it is just a bit short at times.
