I'm going to fix my battery problem this week. I hate going home when they're biting. Last weekend, I pulled 1.6mph for six hours and still had battery left. Today, they were so dead after four hours (at 1.8-2) that the auto pilot and cruise quit working, then it shut down. Probably should get some more stock of 300s on the way. Fish still look pretty healthy though! I didn't have one that looked skinny. Nice job on another big haul!
A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work, unless you fish for a living.

They wanted it fast today I caught some as fast as 2.4
Sometimes I lock the outboard straight and knock it gear then use trolling motor to control boat at much lower setting to prolong troll time

Any time I bumped up to 2.0 I caught fish. I've trolled with the outboard a few times, but I was low on gas today. I thought about it, but I'd had enough for the day. I kept 16 big fish and threw and handful of smaller keepers back. It's definitely better than it was a couple weeks ago. I've got a little off time coming in two weeks. Hopefully the fall weather will start creeping in and drop the temp and humidity a touch by then.
