I have two 10' and four 12' Southern Crappie Rods for sale. These are great rods, I have had them for several years. They are still in great shape. $150 plus shipping for all 6 rods.Name: DSCN0643.jpg

Are they lite or heavy graphite? In other words are they heavy to hold or light ? I've never seen one in person.

Actually, Earl ... they aren't graphite at all, they're Kevlar. The 10' rods are probably 100% Kevlar, but the website says the 12' rods have carbon fiber added (for strength & durability). They're probably lighter than graphite rods of the same length (& handle of same material & length) but for sure.

(I wish companies would put the actual weight of the rod in their ads, like some reel companies do !! )

southern crappie rods are made from carbon and kevlar, while not lighter than a graphite rod (there real close)they are way way more durable and they have the best action of any long rod ive ever fished

I have some southern crappie rods and absolutely love them. Very durable to pull the slab up and out of the water and even a 9" fish feels like a pig. Ed Duke is a great person to deal with also. Just my 2 cents.
Lets go soak a line. Pat
