Sounds like you had a great trip! Thank you for sharing

After working a half day on Thursday, with the wind nonexistent, I decided to head to Santee for a late afternoon trip. I dropped the boat in around 2:00, and off I went. With limited time, I chose to focus my efforts out on the main lake in waters 20 plus feet deep. I would be vertically jigging deep brush piles, fishing fast, looking for aggressive fish. First stop produced one small fish. The next three brush nothing. From that point going forward the bite got better and better. I fished for 4 1/2 hours boating around 60. Some real toads were in the mix and a beautiful box of fish was brought home. A good mix of white and black crappie caught, with big fish being a 2.5 lb. black.
A nice whitey.
Big fish on the day.
The box shot.
The end to a beautiful day

Nice!! It is looking like the fall fishing is going to be good with good size crappie to be caught. Congrats Tim and as always enjoyed your report.

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!Inkdabber LIKED above post
