I searched but could not find that photo or post. I saw NIMROD’s reply about the location and a photo on Da Ducer. I will continue trying, and thanks.

Ok-so a bit amateur-ish but I tried to emulate Rickie’s excellent suggestion. I have the puck duct taped to the plastic board I fabricated and ready to test tomorrow. Trying to figure out how to display the screen settings that akaslyguy has in his post. Back to the book. Thanks everyone.

You have to change your screen settings from "overlay" to "boxes. Then change 2 of the boxes to what you want them to read. I think the guy in the video shows how to do that too.

Watched video while on boat park in the driveway. Finally got the correct sequence although my Helix 10 has some different screens. Will do the on water check tomorrow. Thanks for hanging in there with me.

Wow! Got on the water this morning and fished to daybreak. Caught several whites and a black. When leaving I went to boxes and the Sonar screen. What a great first location! Two degrees off, at the most, while idling 4 mph. Very small variation over 200 yards. Blessed with no winds, no wakeboard boats, and glass like water so I felt it was mounted in an excellent position. The trolling motor and Helix 10 did not affect it whatsoever. Screwed two mounting screws in to make it permanent when I got home. I can always loosen the RAM mount if I need to adjust it. Thanks Ricky for great suggestions and akaslyguy for such a helpful video and comments. What a great app here at Crappie.com!
