    This is the "best" family fishing forum in the world! Hands down.

    Get with the many members from GA and ask if someone would be willing to show you the ropes! Children are involved in your end outcome (your grandkids) and the vast majority of us feel it is our duty to provide our skill and knowledge to the next generation!

    Seeing someone doing it, helping them out, fishing on their platform, and seeing what works and why is the best way you will find to learn this technique.

    If you cannot find someone to take you hire a guide for a day that specializes in the technique you want to learn first and fishes on the lake you want to learn and pick his brain

    That's not true here in Oklahoma. Here you have to have 30 rod and reel combos, 12 tackle boxes, 5 bags of every jig produced both by major suppliers and anybody else who makes them. Plus you have to have every jig head size and shape known to man. And it still isn't enough!😂
