Default 6.4 power stroke twin turbo?

Anyone have one? Any problems our other issues? Looking at a 2008 with 159000 miles.

Biggest crappie to date is 3 lb 9 oz at grenada in 1988. Still hangs on my wall.

Run. Unless you pull a big load many miles every day, a diesel truck is much too expensive to operate. $200 oil changes, $100 fuel filters, 2 batteries, etc. make them out of question for me. I have 3 F250's all gas burners. Pull trailers all day every day, primarily very short distances. 10 miles per gallon, but nowhere near the maintenance. Just my 2 cents.

He knows all about diesels, had a trucking company just a few years ago and did his own work.
    Ken, if it's not a 7.3 I wouldn't have it in the Ford's. That's me tho.

Thats kinda what I was thinking! Wish I had my old 7.3 back. Hadn't talked anybody who had a 6.4. Think we will stick to getting a f150 4x4.

Nephew has a 6.4. He loved it till it threw a scrapiron fit at 145k. Some shops call the 6.4 a 150k throw away motor.

Run like the wind. Loved mine till it burned two cylinders. Pulled like a beast and would run with a mustang... but 20k to replace the piece of junk.
