Default Kayak Trip Report, Barron Fork

I got a new kayak about a month ago, I've been so busy with work it's taken me this long to get it set up for fishing. I finally found a little time today to get on the water and decided to try Barron Fork since it's close to my house. The new kayak is a Old Town Loon 126 https://www.oldtowncanoe.com/Loon_126/ . Great boat, more weight capacity, paddles easy and tracks straight. Most important comfortable seat.

I also caught about 50 Crappie this morning, kept half a limit for lunch tomorrow, great day to be on the water. The water was a little muddy, visibility of about 6 to 8 inches and 75 degrees. The Crappie came off a 1/16 oz, White, Marabou jig single pole on isolated cover and casting a 1" slider to submerged stumps that I marked with my GPS last year.
