Anyone have an update on water levels around Crescent and Dunns Creek? Everything falling back to normalish now?
I doubt it will be normal for a looong time. Still a pile of water down south that has not even made its way any where near that area.
I drove up through Crescent City & Green Cove Springs on my way to GA this past Saturday. There was a lot of big oak tree damage along the way, most stores without power
and gas. Water level at Crescent was above most foot boards on the docks but not over the handrails yet. The water in Dunns Creek was in the roads of the neighborhood below the bridge on hwy17. Like huntinslabs said I would expect the water in Crescent & Dunns Creek to still rise before it starts to come down. Most boat ramps around the area were closed off.

Accuweather still has a flood advisory for the area and other areas along the St. Johns.
All the lakes down this way are high including the new one adjoining Farm 13 which is still not open for business.
I'm not sure if they can dump water from Blue Cypress and Garcia into Farm 13, and vice versa, but they might be able to as the canal system seems endless.
Of coarse Blue Cypress is the headwater for the St. John, and the whole area is called the Blue Cypress Recreational Area.
The C 54 canal can be used to control Stick Marsh/Farm 13 however and that in turn puts that water into the Sebastian river,
and ultimately the Indian river. I visit those areas on a weekly basis just to see whats going on. A couple weeks back the C54 was
very low no doubt due to draining, but now its very high again. That said, I expected to see Farm 13 a little lower also but when I got back in there it didn't appear to have been affected by the canal being so low.
I finally got time after the storm cleanup to get up to our camp off Dunn's Creek. The water is high to say the least, several camps down closer to the Creek still have water in the yards. We took a quick trip down Dunns to Crescent Friday evening. A lot more blow downs all along Dunns down to Crescent. Doesn't look like water will be down anytime soon especially with the King Tides currently. We went out on an outgoing tide and that was one of the strongest currents I've seen on Dunns That water was moving, coming back in to the canal entrance had me going at a 45 angle.
Took a ride to Camp Holly which is on the river at 192 a couple miles west of Melbourne, and a few miles south of lake Washington.
It's a total disaster with water almost high enough to be in the buildings. Access to the Middleton fish camp at Blue Cypress is also blocked but it dosent appear to be flooded, nor is the small village adjacent to the camp.
What's everyone's best guess as to when we'll be back to high/normal or at least be able to get back on the water?

Still flooded here. Expecting water from the O, soon as they can. NOT looking forward to that.....
Maybe the Jon boat in a couple weeks. The river is past the East side of 95, around Rockledge. But, that is what the flood plain is for....we just keep ignoring that fact.
