I think I know what I'm seeing in these pictures but I'd like to know what YOU see in the pictures.

    1) I think the white marks in the first picture is fish
    2) The 2nd pic shows how my right side image goes away and also, what's the ball? Baitfish? Didn't show on the DI.
    3) Is that grass, or is it a rocky or mussel shell bottom?
    4) I don't know
    5) DI looks "hot" SI shows 2 tiny pockets of fish right on the bottom?
    6) Ginormous school of fish, but not baitfish? Or large baitfish, or large school of small game fish? Strong return casting a shadow or is the "shadow" their relative distance from the boat?

I have more to post later.

EDIT TO ADD: There's a lot of loose floating vegetation in the lake right now. Also, my screen doesn't show GPS coordinates, nor does the layout of the info look like other Mega units I've seen pics posted from.

Good pictures, congratulations! You got the hang of it by the looks of these photos. I'll let the others tell you what they are seeing and I'll see if what I'm thinking is correct. I have a pretty good idea in the bottom 2 pics.

I think you're using the "overlay" option for display rather than the "data box" option. That is probably the reason.

Ok, since no one else has chimed in yet, #5 appears that you have the 2d and the SI on (#6 as well) rather than the DI/SI combo. #5 I believe you are correct, 2 separate schools 1st one was on the right side, corresponds to the red blob on the left of that image, 2nd school was on the left matches up to the blotch on the right edge of the 2d. #5 also is showing a bit of surface clutter.
#6 I think is a school of bait fish, high in the water column, casting a shadow that shows up on the right side terrain.
#4 (Big circle) I think is also a school of bait fish casting a shadow because it is very dense. Also in #4, the feature you have circled on the bottom left appears to be the same feature as the top left lightly circled feature in #3.
    #1 I think you're correct
    #2 and 3 I'm not sure.
    Those would be my guess's.

#1 some fish in the rocks
    #2 school of shad
    #3 more shad
#4 more shad could be a small tree or stick on right side
#5 fish in the water column towards the bottom.
    #6 more shad.
    That's my guess.

The last screen shot I think was a school of shad. The reason why is because yesterday I seen a large school of shad running on top of the water. If you watch they will look like it is sprinkling water in spots across the water at a distance. But anyway when I went over that big school of shad that is the way they looked on my sonar as they went under my boat. Thanks for these screen shots as I am still learning every time I go out fishing also.
Be safe and good luck fishing
