I wondered what happened to you. I was telling Jeff today that you've been MIA lately. Pretty place, I can see myself, in 4-5 years, coming to visit you April to November.

I spent 6 days up in the area I grew up, Garden Bay on Lake Michigan.
My purpose was to pay off a debt, I made a deal with my friend to put 8 square of vinyl siding on his house in exchange for a boat, motor and trailer....I'm sure you've all seen it in past posts. The 8 square evolved into 14, but it's done...... I've sold the boat to my son and have moved on to better.
Although the days were busy, the evenings were boat rides in the sunset, all you can eat walleye and perch dinners.......and good times catching up with friends from years ago. I really question my judgement leaving Gods Country UP there, to live in a county almost devoid of a decent lake.
Makes me think in about 4-5 years I could really enjoy living back there April-November
Here's a few pics of my trip.

Wonderful..peaceful..relaxing..quiet....just some of the reasons that I,and Dee too, have spent a lot years in DA UP. We have stayed at Fayette, Garden Corners, Rapid River, Gladstone, and Escanaba...while fishing the Bays. Loved every minute. Hope to visit soon. I envy a place there. Thank you for the photos, and bringing back a few memories. ..bill..

Great.. now that you have finally finished, Bruce might actually let us come and perch fish in the spring! If the timing ever works out for us anyway.

I can see it now, Steve, Rich, Jerry, and Ginger Beard headed to Da UP for perch fishing.
Aaron: "Jerry, go get the truck"
Jerry: "Screw you Aaron, this water is too cold to catch your keys"
Aaron: "I'll throw them on the bank for you"
Jerry: "you throw like a sissy"
Rich: "don't get down on him Jerry, it is hard to throw when you have SPF 825 grease on your hands"
Jerry: "don't give him any excuses"
Steve: "Aaron didn't even drive, I have the keys"
Jerry: "Good, don't let Aaron throw them"

Friday was a crap day, and I took from Friday until today as a chance to go "Offline"
However after reading that above quote, I wish, I had gotten online, as it would have made the day a lot better.
I just have one question........
Were you wearing you canning apron too??????????
How about those High Heeled Crocks??????????
