    Randy, my son in Calhoun has some huge pines that need to come down. I'm probably going to do that in November when I go down for Thanksgiving and the plan is to find someone in the area with a portable saw mill. I'll keep you in mind when the time comes and maybe we can hook you up with some lumber.

    I had 314 acres but new 4 lane highway cut it down to 241

    That is correct Bruce. In the state of Louisiana the neighbors insurance stops at the property line and yours picks up there. My FIL had 1 neighbors tree that fell on his house and he also had a tree that fell from his yard onto another neighbors house. FIL's Insurance had to cover the neighbors tree that fell on his house and the other neighbor's insurance had to cover FIL's tree that fell on his house.
