I've been to Big Cedar a few times but never fished out of there. I do believe they have guides who work out of the marina though. You may try giving them a call

Or, Big Cedar will hook you up with a guide. Call them or ask when you check in. Never used a guide on The Rock so I can't be specific about who.
I'll smoke just about anything (in my smoker)
The fishing is always great. The catching varies.
Thanks hdhntr thanked you for this post

went fishing this morning with Mike and we had fun. mostly did it for my bro in law who does almost nothing and we had a good time. mike warned us right off fish, mostly spots some smallies were scattered and they hadn't established a decent pattern yet. But we caught quite a few and had a lot of bites on drop shot worms. no size but when no one I spoke to at lodge was catching anything it was a good day. Mike worked hard hunting and moving, you could see fish but they wern't doing anything and finally we went out to main lake and found a few who wanted to play. did boat a decent smallie and some spots and had one good size largemouth who flipped off after getting in the air.

Good time overall and my non fishing guy landed 3 and had a lot of bites but was late on sticking em. have some pics but havn't learned yet how to add pics to a thread. tough in the area around big cedar and crappie arn't biting at all. 25 to 38 FOW fishing right on bottom and a few at 15.
