Yes Marty that is my saltwater rig. It is actually smaller than my aluminum boat but it gets the job done and takes the waves MUCH better. Fortunately there were no waves to take on this trip, very unusual for Big Lake.

A friend and his wife went yesterday, launched at Spicers in Hackberry.....caught one trout, several reds/black drum & flounder.....he said he found good water in black lake

Yes Gene, believe it or not she will be 21 on March 7th! A lot of you have watched her grow up on here. I do cherish the times we are able to go together b/c I know all too soon, life will get in the way.

Yea Larry, it is orange string and at the end of it is a leg quarter. The crabs bite on the chicken and then we slowly pull them up and then net them. Laikyn caught all of the crabs by herself. She loves to go crabbing.

Nice mess of fish and shrimp and crabs also precious memories made with your daughter
