Another great day
Started w good day on fav dock new bud gave me minnows as he was quitting and led to some nice slabs and a legal green carp. While i was fileting one side of house my bud was frying on other side for annual fish fry with our buds. Then next morning perfect to bag some young bushytails to cap off great Labor day weekend.

10 FOW brush would not bite on just jigs, didn't do a thing till a new bud told me to jig and minnow it and he gave me his remaining big minnows and boy did they getrdone. starting hitting and finished with 7 from 10 to almost 13 in less than half hour plus a very nice largemouth.

It was incredible men's gathering. Great dove hunt with birds flying and getting our limits, great first day of catching crappie for me at least, then delicious meal, perfect squirrel hunt and sharing it all with same bunch since we were in college. Plus perfect weather? don't know if it could be any better. plus there wasn't any wives there to tell us we were doing it all wrong! LOL
