Default Wateree night stalk 29 Aug17

An old friend and I went out last night and sat over brush piles containing lock jawed crappies. Tried jigs, minnows, and jigs with minnows. Caught 2 cats. Fished spots I've done well on many occasions. I guess it must be Trumps fault, seems everything that goes wrong is his fault, this might as well be too.

Wait nothing? The spot of my last report? OK I am just going to stop telling you spots because my spots don't like you.

Tim, you need to tell us all and then those spots will pay off. Nothing better than a well known crappie hole. Once someone catches a few fish then the word spreads to the other crappies and they will move in to the new place and problem solved. Soon all those lock jaw fish will either bite or move out because the brush will be to full to hold them all!
Scotty, sorry that they didn't get the memo, I know how it feels to be ready and the fish don't show up.

Trump was not the guilty party! He was tweeting about some fire and fury not fishing!

Scottymoe seem's like I have better luck at night not fishing the brush piles. I believe the crappie leaves the piles at night. I like channels drops, points and bends of the channels also the underwater points are very good. It may be different with everyone but these are some of the places I fished at night.

All those places are good for night fishing, some way I like to fish at night. I look for signs of bait before setting up anywhere.

Hate y'all didn't get into a crappie feed feast but lord knows it happens.

once i get an abundance of spots, my ultimate goal is to uncover the gps coords of spots for all crappie.com members only in the moderated fishing reports. These two spots will not be in there, but i have plans for videos the next winter.

Dang, I want those 2 spots!
I would not use them cause I don't go down there that much and when I do go it's striper fishing. It's good you'd do that for others Tim!
