Crappie Wall Hanger II

Got back out yesterday about 6:30PM. Stopped just down from the boat landing on Big Allison. We caught about 30 perch about as fast as you could drop the minnows to the bottom. Since we had enough bait, we went down to the main river to try for some cats. Tried trolling cut bait on the bottom at a couple of spots but only caught 3 channel cats on free lines. We did not mark much bait or fish anywhere but at that first spot. Probally should have stayed there & caught perch. On well, next trip will be morning trip later this week. Thinking about putting in at Buster Boyd & going up river to try different water. Need a change.

Glad you got out Mr. Charles. Keep hammering those perch. I hope you get a monster cat one of these days and gets you excited.
It will happen if you keep it in their face. Maybe a bigger bait ( whole perch) drifted along the channel. I remember Remus and I got into the catfish one morning in front of Elks park. We had to move there were so many.Good luck to ya! Hope to get out there myself soon when things settle down around here. Nerves are shot, I may needs some of Brett's meds and me time!

I was out there today, the fish didn't bite for me today! It was terrible! I was cat fishing.....
