Amite River sacs
My son n me finally got a chance to go fish the lower Amite yesterday evening . We must have caught 150 sacs ... Every 7 or 8 fish was a nice keeper , some really nice , but most were throw backs .1/16 oz chartreuse head with white n chartreuse jig was the most productive . We fish from about noon till around 4 with some sun but mostly cloudy .

I wish i knew where to fish at the amite. The boat launch is 15 mins from my house! Great catch!
