No thump for me!
Well the weekend was pretty busy on my end, put off my river trip until this coming Wed. my day off and that is closer to our little tournament coming up to pre-fish anyway. I did manage to get out on the water. I tossed my lil' boat in back of truck and headed off to Black Lake only had a few hours to fish, the current was bad over there. Did get checked my LDWF also so if y'all go over you better be in check. I did see one boat launch at Chandlers so you can still get in. I gave it 2 hrs and headed in, not a bite!

Coming home from Natchitoches Sunday I drove across Black Bayou bridge to see how low it was. Salvinia was pretty bad but also saw that Dee's Camp launch was closed for the foreseeable future.

I went to my camp on the north end of Black Lake fri after work and the water had come all the way up out of the banks and was flowing like a chocolate milk river, (wed it was 6 feet from the bank!) So I went and looked at the bridge but I saw the salvania moving back in. I changed my plans for Saturday and meet up with DC at Grand Bayou. Drove back over the bridge Sunday and the grass was worse.
