Miss. Butla has humbled many good crappie fisherman, including the pro tournament guys. What you know about fishing other lakes don't apply on Butla.

Fished 6 1/2 hrs last wed, 1 small channel cat. Fished 4 1/2 hrs Sunday 1 4inch crappie. Today fished from 7 till 2:30 1 bite
1 crappie. MidMs you need to come get some of this. Waiting on Snubbys to take me on a guided trip so I can figure out how to catch some.

Charlie, I don't feel so bad now about my skunk this past Friday! Only a few of us know how fickle she is!

Sure it does. Fish feed somewhere on the lake everyday. It's just matching up the when and the where that's the trouble.

I don't claim to know much at all and my comment only meant to serve two purposes:

Compliment the lake with sarcasm and irony.

    &

Throw Snubbys under the bus! (Undeservedly, of course

Lord, I hope anyone actually took me seriously. Lol. I don't actually think is easy.

PS. The "I know how" comment was only in reference to Snubbys comment on wondering how his name keeps coming up in this thread. Not meaning I know hot to catch fish up there.

No harm guys, you just jinxing old Snubbys is all. I ain't good at math and don't do well at odds, most my limited fishing success I chalk up to luck and instinct. Mostly luck, not superstitious at all, but I don't fish in an east wind, won't walk under ladders, refuse to step on cracks and will never end the day with just 13 fish!!

I for one am just picking at you. I'm getting to old to take very much serious anymore. As everyone who has fished it regular will tell you she will humble you but I keep going back because you will hit one of those days every once in awhile that will make you think your a hero.

Life is serious enough, I don't let that bleed over into fishing, lol. I just like to give some people a hard time in good fun. I'll be up there in early September sometime, reckon I have at least earned one slice of that humble pie. Won't be able to make the fruit jar on account of work but I'm comin up none-the-less!

    First round's on me!

Hey man my post wasn't directed at you at all, I was just making a statement. I'm sorry if I offended you, it wasn't my intention....
