Default Yamaha 50hp four stroke for sale

An '04 F50TLRC. Power tilt and trim. Long shaft (20"). Remote.
Includes the control box, throttle and shift cables, aluminum prop, two keys.
    Works as it should.
Tilt switches on engine and control box.
I changed the oil/filter, lower unit fluid, and impeller in February.
    No hour meter.
Their is some paint pealing on the top rear of the cowling, some scratches on the rest.
    Quiet, and sips fuel.
Engine is on the boat and in use. Will remove when an agreement is reached.
Selling to get a 25hp, to more easily fish HP restricted lakes.
Would like to sell somewhat local. Located in highland,il.
    $3500

Great motor at good price. Got exactly same motor and no one problem ever. If you pull it will idle all day long and never miss a beat then blast out the hole. So quiet you have to check pee hole to see if it's running. Someone going to get a deal here. Good luck with your sale.

I'd love it. Asking wifey but I know what she's gonna say. Have to sell house in Illinois first. You do trade for house! Lol. J/k about the trade but I'll see what I can do.

Thank you. I still catch myself questioning whether or not I shut it off when pulling up the ramp, it's so quiet.
I can put muffs on it in the driveway, or meet somewhere to run it.
Had a hard time pricing it. Was told by a dealer that nada is unreliable, and prices on Craigslist are all over the place.

Seems to be right in the ballpark for that year. I have seen later model yam and merc 4 strokes right around 3800-4000 and they are basically same motor.

I would just pull the 50HP decals off the cover and put on some 25HP stickers.
