Good Report! Nice fish! Thanks for sharing !

The good Lord blessed Dr Phillip and I with a cool morning for crappie fishing. Clear blue skies and cooler water temps that we had a few days ago. Wind out of the NE though and brisk, but no white capping strength. TVA running 21,700 CFS the 4 hours that we were fishing and the fishing was slow everywhere except on honey hole where we caught 16 of the 20 keepers that we had this morning. All fish were released.
Lures of choice were Bobby Garland Minnow Mind'Rs and 2" Baby Shads. Phil caught one or two on a Bass Assassin Limetreuse Glow. All the fish were on a 20 count down with 3/32 oz jigs. One fish on a delta cut, two fish on a bluff, one fish on a dock and the rest on an off shore brushpile in 18 feet of water.
The extra fish were one Blue catfish, 1 yellow bass, 1 white bass, and 1 trashy green largemouth bass. Phil hooked up with a big fish under a dock that got under the metal support bar and cut the line. Probably a catfish. It felt more like October this morning than the last of July. Grin. Love it.
