    Default 17" Slab Caught in Lake Tholloco

    Biggest crappie I have seen come out of this lake. I'll try and find out what it weighed.

    Good ern!! Don't know where that lake is but I did pass a bunch of lakes today and thought about you good ole south AL guys and and some them Ga guys left Pratville went over through Tuskegee national Forrest down to east side of Coloumbus Ga then back over and up 185 to 27 up and across to almost Rome then took 100 to go around Rome but then had to detour back down to 411 and around through Center man what a day !! and most folks must not been in a hurry to get home like I was!(lol)

    Bill, I know there are a few in there. There is an 85 year old gentlemen that darn near fished this lake daily. He launches his stick steer by himself and knows the lake like the back of his hand. When we see each other on the lake we always take time to chat an share what we know on the given day. I've grown fond of him and always hope he is on the lake when I get the chance to go. He has caught a couple of fish this year that went 3 lbs. I gave him the "look" and when he told me - "they ain't showed up for me" I said. He just giggles a little . "You ain't fishing right or enough" he says.

    The Lake is on Ft Rucker Army base between Ozark and Enterprise AL
