Hi to all. Very new to this entire fishing hobby. Am very excited to be a part of the forum. Lived on a lake growing up, but never really did any fishing. Now have been bitten hard by the fishing bug. Bought 3 poles, 3 reels, odds and ends of fishing stuff, and a Bass Tracker II fishing boat.
Not really sure how and what to start figuring out with what to fish with. Doing a lot of reading and video watching.
Glad to be here.

I've fished my entire life, heavily as a younger guy, but am pretty new to boat/big lake fishing still.
Just ASK! Be specific! Species you want to target, time of year your fishing, the body of water. Ask enough questions and the people here will give you enough info to put you on fish.
Pulling crankbaits was what I found to be my no-brainer. Easy to do, fairly cheap, covers alot of water. Anyone can do it and catch fish, I guess the trick is, focusing on the best productive waters and catching much more fish. My wife and I went out our first day in out new boat, on a lake I hadn't ever really seriously fished in 20 years, and caught fish/ had fun in crappy weather.
Good luck!
