    Default Dang Cat in Boat

So my Youngest Daughter "Saved" a neighbors cat.

When it see's me it high tails for the back yard of it's anywhere near my boat.

It likes to sneak into the boat and sleep.

When I find cat hair, I walk in and give it to the Daughter, and say "Grab the Shop Vac" & she gets to vacuum the boat.

Well today I got home and it was fast asleep.

I snuck around and started the video on the phone and put the phone up over the boat edge while sneaking closer so it could not see me.

The cat was totally focused on the phone.......

When I was close enough, I jumped up and let a "I'm the dominate cat, get out of my boat" type hiss.......

Man can that cat move fast when it's scared......

This link should work, for IPhones i think.

Up middle of the night heading to the restroom I see the porch motion light come on .Looking out through kitchen window I see the culprit.Big,like Boone and Crockett big, yeller cat.I'm half-asleep so not thinking real good figure"good Mouser, good deal". Cut up lunch meat ,put on paper plate and take it to my cat-buddy.Cat runs off, next morning there sets lunch meat, give it to the dogs.Life as usual about a week til I go to the garage and find out what I thought was a fishing boat had been converted to Boone and Crockett cat living quarters.Yellow hair and other various cat sign.......Perseverance won the battle, the cat is no more.....I am sorry but there is zero regrets....Good luck scaring the cat into not living in your boat..

You know what CAT stands for? Me either but I know the word boat isn't in it.

You never go out fishing and see a guy pull up with his fishing cat. Dogs, sure, all the time. Big dogs, even little cute dogs. No matter, they are fishing dogs.

If however, you pull up and out comes that cat, I won't judge you. No wait, yes I will!

Why do girls feel the need to "rescue" cats? I had three sisters, therefore, we always had some sickly looking cat with sticks and leaves stuck to it's rear at our house. Never slept in the boat though.

Good luck to you sir. Did I mention I've eaten meat on a stick? You have a big roaster. Just saying

Better watch it Steve or you'll have a yard full of PITA, and I don't mean the bread. Aaron, train that cat to retrieve keys and bring it along next time we go fishing. Might save me a wet truck seat.

I almost feel bad that I forgot, that I had towels in my dry storage.........

Why would i want to train the cat anyways, You seem to have much more training, and experience.

A small shocker and you could be trained to never leave the dock, Hell, wear Steve's Bikini top at the Dock, and you could make some CASH.

I'd probably give you $10.00 just to put a shirt on........

Cats aroung my house have a strict understanding. They are "allowed" to roam the woods and the vast property but, once they cross the line on the road that goes from my woods to my back yard (out by the barn) they are tresspassing.

I did have one however that I let do as he pleased. He lived in my shed, didn't make a mess, and kept the mice under control. We had a mutual agreement, I would not evict him if he did not touch anything of mine! In fact, I didn't even want to see him or make eye contact. If I walked out on the back porch and he was outside, he would get away fast. He understood that it was "my" area and he was allowed to stay as long as he didn't bother me. I think I even saw him give me the middle finger once. Which kind of made me laugh. As much as a cat could make me laugh anyway.

It is summer now and I think he moved on to greener pastures. Maybe he is pestering the neighbors. Walking on their car hoods and doing other nasty stuff he was not allowed to do at my place. He was a real jerk! Maybe that is why I liked him.
