Thread: Took the Father in Law fishing

So some of you have been following my pontoon rescue. I am happy to report that after my son's 10th birthday party today, me, my father, my son, and his friend all went to the lake on the pontoon.

We drug the kids around on the inner tube for a while then fished.

My father in law took over as captain. It was great. We fished too deep, and sometimes too slow, and.sometimes too fast, but we all had a blast. Caught one 10" fish.

He said when we pulled up in the driveway, "the boat ain't pretty or fast, but we couldn't have had more fun on a $30k boat.."

I have to agree.
