Default Fishing the lights on Smith Lake?

I was asked to go fish the lights on Smith Lake one night this weekend. It has been a while since I have fished Smith and have never tried it at night. Anyone have any tips for fishing the docks/lights? I'd imagine we will be putting in at the park boat launch.

Try every light you see. Never know which one will be loaded. Hadn't been doing much since the water has got in the high 80's low 90's it has slowed them down alot. I throw jigs and minners just try to see which one they want that night sometimes they won't touch a jig, sometimes they won't touch a miner sometimes they won't touch anything lol. It's normally feist or famine for me.

Martin is similar to smith. It's been tuff sledding with these high water temps

    Thanks guys.

If we strike out on the crappie maybe we can make up for it Sunday morning when we go trout fishing in Smith's tailwater.

We have good luck with small spoons like the castmaster. Now you will catch more than crappie on them but if things are slow it's better than nothing.
