    I use 6lb longlining and 10# diameter braid cranking. One thing you will learn quick long lining is you need to be able to break off when you hang up, losing jigs is just part of it.

    agree losing jigs is easier than the hassle of going back around with multiple lines out.

    Rees, what brand braid have you found to be the best/easiest to work with? Power pro? I have always used braid jigging but never really used it pulling cranks or anything like that.
