MICDC Fall Gathering

It was great to see everyone last month at camp! Now it's time to plan for a fall gathering, and Tim (Flytier) and his wife Dar are hosting.

Friday through Sunday September 22-24, 2017

Because the fall events fall during school sessions and many are hunters, they tend to be a bit smaller in attendance. For this reason we are calling our fall event a "gathering" as it better describes the feel of those events. There will still be plenty of food, fun, and fellowship. Tim and Dar will add any particulars to this thread, but those who want to be a part can copy/paste the link to Waffle Farms above to access their website and check out their great campground.

We held a camp here once before years back and they have a wonderful facility and super staff so your stay will be relaxing. Plan accordingly and hope to see you there!

Morin a bit too far to drive but for sure i'm planning to be at the rose lake. sounds like a good time and talking trash. As a newbee to thee crappie clan , i've recevied alot of welcomes to the club which was pretty nice of all that invited me. I found out about the crappie people last week on mich out of doors. Was that at ford lake for the spring camp out, cause that looked like fishin fun Ok going to try some perchin on mullit lake did ok monday . would have gone more weather not good. later

Welcome to the site. We did our Rose lake outing this spring (actually in June). The fall camp will be located on the Coldwater chain of lakes (Known as the Randall chain of lakes).

The show you saw this weekend was shot two years ago at Croton Hardy dam pond.

Yup, we are waiting on the school schedule for school activities, for Band, & Marching Band.

If that weekend is clear, and free of obligations for my daughters & school activities, we are coming..........

Not exactly who the wife meant by "All" but we have it on the books, its in pencil, and hopefully it becomes INK, and I make it.

We all have a great time no matter what we do. Many of us get together outside of our camps and enjoy the outdoors. From walleye fishing in Erie and Huron to Salmon on lake Michigan. If there is something you want to fish, there is probably someone willing to go.

Well if.....and that's a big IF OE makes it as well as Jerry, we might need to bring Wilbur the goat so they can finally get their ride in.

Personally I think they're afraid of Wilbur. Seems like whenever "the goat" gets mentioned, other obligations pop up. Just my observation.
