Saw your post about adding floats to the Mini boards. Saw these floats at Academy and thought they might work. Used Coping saw to cut grove and used liquid nails. Drilled a couple of holes at top edge of board to hold glue. Shouldn't come off.

Offshore makes a float kit for them now. It easily attaches to the top of the mini boards.
The corks work great too, but take some extra glue. They come off on occasion.

Are these floats available to "retro-fit" existing ones, or have to buy new ones to get the floating version??

That's the reason I used liquid nails. Hoping it won't come loose. Sanded top edge to rough it up then drilled them 2 holes in top edge and filled with glue hoping that will hold them in place.
