It was a fun trip.
It was so nice to have a lighter wind from a different direction (ENE) after a week of big SW winds. I'm stilling fishing out of my 1542 Xpress duck boat. The front of that boat bounces like a kid at a trampoline park. It's nearly impossible to stay on fish in a big wind.
I'm working on getting my Ranger Reata 180VS fish/ski set up and can't wait. I bought the electronics last month and having them installed this month.

Didn't see a thermocline but I don't think I saw any water deeper than 12' where I was. The ledge I fished around dropped from 6’ to 12'. Better fish were 7-9' deep in 12 FOW, but I marked and caught fish in the whole water column.
