Some people will argue this but your better off using a good lead acid deep cycle than AGM. They are really not designed to be be completely discharged and recharged like the lead acid battery. Group 29 from Walmart are a good battery for the money. If you got plenty of money get Trojin.

Everstart maxx from Walmart is hard to beat. I get 3 years out of mine and I fish couple few days a year

Nobody believes this but me, and it's true. I bought 2 Exide batteries (to be used only for my MinnKota trolling motor) from Cabelas back in 2002,at the same time that I bought my boat. They are sealed, white plastic case, blue top. They were, at the time, the most expensive that Cabelas sold. I also installed a MinnKota 3 bank 10 amp charger. Since then I have replaced the charger with another one just like the original. The batteries are still in the boat, working as good as new. When I'm not fishing the charger is always on. The boat sits in the water 12 months a year. I'm pretty happy with Exide!

If you have the money, do what cray suggested, look at the Trojans. Make sure to pay attention to the measurements, as some of them are taller.

I have two group 31's Duracells. Not saying they are the best, however I haven't been able to run them down yet. I don't pull cranks.

Another vote for Wallyworld. Work fine, cheap, and if you ever have a problem in BFE there will be a store to exchange them.
