What always intrigues me about things like this is the thoughts that went into designing it to start with, then having the skill to design and fabricate all those intriqite parts using nothin but a few hand tools. I often wonder what a man like this could have done with computer's and the machines we have today.

Wow!! That's awesome craftsmanship and ingenuity there. Not sure what type of marvelous creations men like them could invent with the modern technology Cray. I like to think that their genius creation was inspired by the simple tools and world they lived in at the time. Thanks for sharing!

I have always been interested in secret compartments in things. I have been trying to figure out one for my den for a pistol, so I won't have to go to one of the safes if I need one in a hurry. I have to worry about the grand kids.
