    Default Old River Morganza

Felt a little itchy this AM. I know the cure. Made it to landing around 8am. Condition s we're perfect. Lots of small bass and sacs. Kept 4. Tight line be on da Bushes.

Thanks for the report. Glad to see you caught something. I'm seriously considering trying Saturday morning. Looks like the river is supposed to flatten out Saturday then start rising. Im eager to go. Don't care if I get skunked or not to be honest. I recognize that first picture. If it's the one I'm thinking of that'll be my first stop.

Been a long time since I've done any good in the big river oxbows. I blame those confounded jumping carp for that.

Man, I wish I could get my hands on a bunch of those SkipJacks... A friend who was fishing a river run out was catching the fire out of them the other day...

I've always thrown them back. They've run me out of a fishing hole quite a few times since they wouldn't let the shiner go down more than a few feet. Are they any good to eat?

Did not see anyone catching. Very few boats out. The man that runs the landing was surprised I had four and questioned me as to where etc.
