I got it. will post pic when i get it mounted. i was talking to the store manager while i was there. he told me that gander was not totally going away the deal is more of a merger with camping world he didn't know how long it would be before they actually closed the doors for their remodel but when they do re-open they would still be carrying hunting and fishing supplies.

i ask the guy that last night cause they don't seem to be in a hurry to get the inventory out. i got lucky on that helix but most every thing else in the store is only 20%-25% off. the only big savings in only on clothing. most of that is 40-50% off. not really what i would call an "everything's gotta go clearance sale". its been going on for several weeks. i personally hate to see it go our only other option down here is academy or Walmart unless you order. thank the lord our sight sponsors are really quick shippers.

Nice murdok!! We got worried about you, I figured you may have over shot Gander in Hattiesburg and ended down there in Cajun country or maybe even the Gulf!! And Academy at least tries to keep there prices reasonable as well as Walmart, in stock is there issue most times. I hate to go to BPS, cause I know I'm fixing to pay big time for my short shortsightedness... $40 for a $25 adapter, $8 bucks a pop for a Bandit 300 now, proud, proud, I tell ya...Make sure you register that Helix with Humminbird, I have to do the same on mine!!
