    Default night fishing

have not had much luck finding schools of crappie on rhodehiss. we have fished the last three nights and got rained on 2 out of 3. didnt mind the rain so much but seems like the bite just dies at 10.30. the more rain the less they bite. caught 15 wed 10 thurs and 6 last night. havent night fished in a few years so i am setting up in 15 to 20 feet close to deeper water. ive tried the channel and half way back in the coves but i think all im catching is a few scattered fish.do you guys have any set up tips for this time of year.its been a while.by the way i moved to the main channel last night and the fish i caught were few but bigger.

I set up over brush or drop-offs. Sounds like you are doing the right thing, may want to try fishing mulitple rods, set each one different depths.

might sound crazy but if anchored at night could you run a Vexilar over the side of boat. If they are there you could jig right above them
