Default Going under the knife Tuesday

Doc found a couple of places that needed surgery. Side of face and right forearm too much sun. Cut the cancer out and sew it up. A week of staying
calm and not sweating sounds boring. Long sleeves and wider brimmed hats with sunscreen from now on. Learning to roll to a different lifestyle,
and I'm not superman anymore. Take care of your skin and it will take care of you.

Prayers sent. Thx for reminder. I wear big floppy hats and lots of sunscreen. Wished I'd started it earlier in life though. Get er done and get back out as soon as you can.

Sorry for your needing the surgery and May God Bless you will a great outcome!

I started years ago using wide brim hats and later just went with caps. The entire time I was down near Corpus Christi I had this really floppy very wide brim straw hat. Think I started wearing it just because it looked funny and gave me a lot of shade. These were my days of chasing the Redfish down there. Of course we also got after the Specks and Flounder too! Maybe one day I will find some old pictures and scan on into my computer and share it here, lol!

Well the initial trip to the operating chair didn't get the job done, so had to make two more trips to that same operating chair and finally got sewed up and sent home.
Cut from the top of the ear down to the bottom of the ear, pulled the skin together and installed stitches. One side of the sideburns is narrower than the other side but
I don't know anyone with eyes that can see both sides at the same time, so I'll be just fine. Appreciate the thoughts and prayers. Takin' it easy for a few days is going
to be labor intensive for me.

Glad for you that you had it done.....you will be fine.....I have had several of those....sometimes it's hard to remember to put on the sunscreen or wide brim hat....especially when you are getting bites and your adrenalin starts pumping....take care of yourself....the fish will be there later....

I had that done two years ago on my face. It was very invasive, large and deep. Doc told me to keep Vaseline on it all of the time. I did and there wasn't any scar. Just letting you know if you don't already. Gods speed Brother.
