Default Ranger and EB summertime on Eufaula

I did pretty good this spring but now all I'm catching is dinks. For the life of me I can't find keeper crappie. Would you share any summertime tips and what to look for on the lake? I'm willing to put the boat time in and watch the Hds units but it seems like finding a needle in a haystack. I can find shad but can't catch anything around them. I generally fish south of blocker bridge. Thanks.
Thanks Redge thanked you for this post

My last 2 trips (the last 2 Sats.) on SE OK lakes I have noticed the trend. Last Sat it was especially bad. I fought dinks all day (and boat traffic) with only 5 decent fish. Then at the very end of the day decided to try deeper and caught several good fish in the last hour with only a couple dinks. Should have tried that earlier . By deeper I mean 12 to 18 feet.

On a point that I was wearing em out earlier in the year I started shallow and worked the point back and forth. Windy side to calm side. Dinks. I started going deeper and deeper off the point....a couple of dinks and no keepers. My HDS units showed the shad were still there.....no keepers. I fished this point twice in three days the exact same way with no results. I have an Xi5 and put it on spot lock to hold me on the windy side because I ASS-umed the active fish would be there chasing the baits. nope. Moved to other points with the exact same results. So that's why I'm asking is there something specific the guides look for on the summertime bites on this lake? Heck, I'll take GPS coordinates....I aint that proud....
