    Default Amateur Cranker on Guntersville

I am sure that the rest of you guys cull and limit on every trip, but not me. (Lol). Pulled crankbaits on Guntersville this morning from 6 until my batteries quit at 10:30. Color didn't matter as long as it was Hot Pink. 16-20 fow off the channel.

So how many did you catch? I believe I've had a great trip if I boat 10-15 fish when pulling cranks. What was the water temp?

Arabjoe beat the odds and caught a black crappie............Still don't know why the cranking catches 95% white crappie.

Yea, that's what I have found to be the case as well. The whites seem to be the one's that I catch all the time too. Occasionally, a black will get in the mix but mostly whites, and they are all good fish when you do get them to bite.
