    Default Cane Creek 6/10

Linda and I hit the creek about 7:30 the 7 mph winds were about 14, later in the morning we saw some white caps. We pulled it at 11:30. We set up to troll with only a couple minnows in the water. The fish bite anything all colors, mostly small 6-8 inches. I put 11 in the box for dinner. Linda didn't catch anything because her shoulder is still in need of repair, now scheduled for July.
Alawys nice to spand part of the day on the water.

Glad you two had some fun together bringing in some fish. It's always fun catching.

Did you longline 1/8 jigs with any color tipped with a minnow or long line plus tight lined minnows?

Nice catch Grady. Did the fish prefer minnows over the jigs? Do you tightline the minnows AND longline troll at the same time ? I know the speed of the trolling but I don't tightline. Thanks for sharing the pics.

I pushed minnows and jigs there Thursday. They didn't want them sitting still for me.

    Sam,
Yes we found they like the jig and minnows moving at .9-1.0 mph, only had 3 rods with minnows and 6 with jigs, the minnows got bigger fish. We had them all out, some sliders, some with the little spoon, two with a feather tail( caught a catfish on that)
