Tal, very easy to rig. You just take the little spring and screw it into the nose of the bait. You then bring the hook along the side of the bait to see where the hook should be, the you insert the hook from the bottom of the bait and let it just come out the top to be flush with the back. There is a slot on the underside of the bait which allows the hook to be almost flush with the bottom and easily pop out when a fish hits. It is weedless and sinks slowly which allow you to fish it on top of and through weedbeds. Hook set is very easy, no need to try to rip so lips. Just a little jerk will do. HTH

In the bottom picture I don't have the spring screwed in all the way but you must do that before putting the hook through the bait.

Papaw how do you like that power pole micro and what size boat do you have? I've been looking at them for a while for my 17' Xpress.

It works fair. Some times it need help getting it out of the mud or on a soft bottom it needs help pushing it in. Once in place it holds well as I found out on our last trip. We had winds to 15 mph and it held without a problem. I have it on a Stratus 176 with a 50 yammy on it. It's not as good as a power pole but it beats playing with an anchor.
