We had to squeeze a trip in, a lot of stuff has keep us from hitting the water but had to get this one in after doing the honey dues on Sunday morning me and my little one hit the first spot at 430 we fished till 730 and the rain was coming and the deer flies were hungry.... we end the short trip with 19 keeper Sacs and 1 bream, we released 15 small Sacs (7" or less) and missed at least 20...Caden had one huge Sac get off.... he was about to jump in the water for him.. we were a little off on the hook set. I think it's cause I changed our corks... not sure but going back to the Thill corks. We had great trip!! Caden wasn't to happy in pics cause his mom just informed him that it will be a couple weeks before he could go fishing again cause on Thursday he has to go have a Cholesteatoma removed from his right inner ear. And of course dad said as soon as u can hold ur pole will go again. Sacalait were in 8-10 ft we caught at 2' under cork, water was high and clean.
Those are some pretty blacks. Looks like footballs. My daughter had ear issues when she was younger and it's no fun. Good luck to u and ur fishing buddy. He'll be back in the boat before he knows it.
