    Default A Few Hours Saturday Morning


    Got out around 6'ish and was off the lake by 9:30 had to be back home to do some honey do's. Here are some of our pic's for the morning. Had some really nice fish.     WTG guys!!! What condition was the water like? Were you jigging in the brush
    or spider rigging open water? Keep up the good work and the pics!

    You weren't fishing Rend, were you? We drove from OKC a few weeks ago to fish Rend with son and grandson (and watch grandson play baseball). Well, we got to watch the baseball, but the guys at Rend said that with all of the rain, the brush was under a LOT of muddy water. Very disappointing, since we had done really well on previous trips. Glad that you got into 'em.

    crappie24 great day on water even if you didn't have a lot of time. WTG. you live in Decatur? so is my sister and heading up there soon. where were you fishing? plus have daughter in Effingham and her fiance's family is on shelbyville a lot but havn't had a chance to get on that lake yet.

    I will tell you guys and gals if your looking for a top notch guide in the Central Illinois area for Lake Shelbyville and Lake Mattoon give Cleland Outdoors Guide Service a buzz. You wont be disappointed. Brian or Duffy will make sure you get some fish in the live well.
