Thread: Met a bud at the marina and went for a ride ......

thought maybe I would go in between the scattered storms yesterday , I was gunna just do it off the bank and or docks a bit . I was walking up to the marina store and thought wow I like that there black boat . then after I looked at it a bit I realized it was a friend and he was alone . I said hey dude ya wanna sell that boat ?
so I backed him in and we went to visit the crappie fish before he went cat fishing .....
sure enough the rainy weather had them all messed up and we only managed about 100 or so in 3 hours , and lots of short fish in the mix , but hey some beats none in crappie poking I always say 7:30 am to 10:30 am and bought him a stand out burger at the local marina when I had to go .....
AND I got a seriously bad case of crappie thumb
he sure is a nice guy and I haven't seem him in quite a while , he works them there west texas oil rigs and don't get into to town much , hope I get to go hammer some with him again soon , I like hanging with him some for sure
gots to love accidental boat ketchn between the storms for sure

I try not to fish brother ......LOL .....fishin is boring .....
