.................Bandchaser and littlemama. We got to try out some tactics they weren't familiar with in some new spots (for them). It was a great day weather wise even though the crappie were running smaller than I'd like and not really eager to get in on the fun.
Here's hoping the both of you left with a little more knowledge in your pockets. Me thinks littlemama was more excited about the prospects of family fishing days going forward. Thanks guys, I had a great time.

Oh, we wore Doug down with questions, very similar to the methods of the CIA minus the water boarding techniques!
We had a blast and appreciate Doug very much for his hospitality, knowledge, and friendship. And the graciousness of donating such a trip to our Shindig speaks volumes for Doug, but also our members of this fantastic site, and all of our contributing sponsors!
A great day on the water, ended the day with 11 crappie, 2 sauger, and littlemama kept a green carp as they wanted to try some grilled carp. Pulling cranks is and can be a very productive technique, and we look forward to applying our lessons learned on our future adventures.
That's all I needed was just one more weapon to catch crappie!!!
